I worked with Maggie Kisor as a layout artist for her senior thesis film, 'Bombshell', about a lonely crab who finds love in a most unexpected place. Directed by Maggie Kisor, I worked on creating and editing several layouts throughout the 2019 months of summer and being as attentive as possible and following the reference materials as best as possible. The backgrounds are inspired by the classic cartoon pallets and line work akin to Merry Melodies and Looney Toons, including having an almost tangible grainy feel.
